Clear Dollar Sneak Peeks!

Hello, hello!

Isn't this little kitty just precious??? It's the main image in a new set called A Cupful of Happiness that is being released by Clear Dollar Stamps tomorrow! I actually pulled out my Prismacolor pencils and OMS to color my furry friend on this card. And I also got to use some of the cardstock and ribbon from CDS' Clearly Coordinating Collection... Ripe Olive & Sweet Cheeks. I'm really looking forward to trying some of the Tombows from the new collection, too. I've been itching to do some watercoloring having watched all of Laurie's tutorials. It looks so easy! And she says the Tombows work so nicely. They're on my list, at least!

For my next card I used the new background stamp being released this month, as well as the Cupful of Happiness set. I paper pieced the cup and colored the kitten with copics. Then I popped the kitten up for some dimension. I used CDS' Red Velvet Cake cardstock and ribbon, as some Hot Cocoa and Toasted Almond cardstock, as well. Don't those names make your mouth water!! LOL!

This fun card was made with this month's Stamp of the Month called Goose Hugs. I used some older SU dp that I had in my stash and backed it with some of CDS' Mossy Woods cs. I colored my geese with copics. They make me smile!!

Isn't this such a fun sentiment?? I watercolored my geese this time (Did I mention that I *really* want some Tombow markers??) They actually are a lot more vibrant in real life... but they're cute either way. :-)

Don't forget to take a gander (pun intended!) at the other sneak peeks today! There is some wonderful eye candy to be seen!!!

Here's the list...

Sweet 'n Sassy Summer

Happy Summer, everybody!

Here's a card made with the new clear set called Feeling Fruity Cocoa from Sweet 'n Sassy. Doesn't he look like he has the right idea! :-) Don't forget that there are new clear sets being released every week! AND... there's a release party tomorrow night. I hope to see you there!

Nothing too fancy on the card...Cocoa is colored with copics, and the papers are KaiserCraft LaDiDa from Paper Garden Projects. The ribbon and pearls are from Paper Garden, too.

Hang in There

Oh, I just love this little bear!!! I really wanted to make a card with him today, and I had a few challenges that I wanted to play in, too. Well, everything worked out and I was able to use this card for all three challenges! That never happens for me!!

The theme for my card is encouragement - so that fits Deedee's Happy Monday challenge. I think I'm going to send it to a friend who's money situation is pretty tight right now. I love the verse on the card! It's from Deedee's Trust in the Lord set, and the bear is from the Hang in There set.

The layout for my card is this week's Sweet Stop Challenge. It really came together fairly easily... which doesn't always happen. Maybe I did something wrong??? LOL!

And, finally, I chose the colors for the sketch based on the colors in a bag in an inspiration photo on Splitcoast. (It's the brown, blue and pink one in front of the bike.)

And there you have it!

Happy Saturday! I hope you'll have a wonderful one!

Thanks, Friend!

When I saw the Card Patterns sketch for this week, I knew it would be just perfect for this adorable little Inkadinkadoo Baby Love image that Cathy has in the Paper Garden Projects store. I inked up just the ducky and sailboat part of the image first, and colored it with copics - and did a little paper piecing for the sail. Then I took a saying from the Stampendous Flexible Friendship Wishes set and curved it around the top. I added the stitching lines so it would look like water... or something. :-) The paper is Pink Paislee 365˚. Be sure to check out the Paper Garden Store for all the fun products!! I'm planning on including this card in my first box of cards to Operation Write Home, which I hope to get out next week. Just in time for the 4th of July!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blessings!

For my card, I used the new digi "Birds and Roses", along with a verse from the clear set, Amazing Grace. Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you over at Digi Day!!

Hi Friends!

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth or stopped stamping, but I was gone for 4 days and I'm working through how to get things done with my "new normal" schedule of being out of the house for 5-7 hours a day taking my ds to work, drivers ed and karate. I'm *really* looking forward to him getting his drivers license!! :-)

Tomorrow I'll be hostessing digi day over on PaperCraft Planet in the Sweet 'n Sassy group. I'd love for you to join me! And speaking of Sweet 'n Sassy - have you looked at all the new clear stamps that have been released this month??? Oh, my!!!! I love them all!! We're having a Release celebration party on the 29th. Stay tuned for more info!! :-)

OK, back to work for me!

Blessings!

Digi Day!!

Hi everyone!

I'm hostessing digi day over at SNR today! Well, at least I'm going to get it started, then I'm going out with my dh for our anniversary, and K. Joy is going to take over for me. :-) I can't believe that I've been married for 23 years. Wow! The theme for digi day just happens to be Anything Masculine, so it was a perfect choice for my Anniversary card!! :-) I used the Bowling Sentiments and Bowling Strike Digis and colored with copics, and I finally found a reason to use the cool Phillips head screw brads that I had stashed away. :-)

I really hope that you'll join me! You don't have to use SNSS images, if you don't have any yet, and I'd love to see a great turnout!!! :-)

Blessings!

A Quiet Afternoon

Hi friends!

The beautiful image on my card today comes from the new digital set "Quiet Rocking Chair" that is being released today at Clear Dollar Stamps. I colored my image with copics and a little imagination. :-) Hence I have a striped pillow and a vase that looks like that speckled blue graniteware. Fun look, huh? The stripes are pretty self-explanatory, but for the graniteware look I just made lots of dots and then went over the top with my colorless blender pen. Doesn't it look... happy???? :-)

Be sure to stop by Clear Dollar to see the rest of the releases and to visit all the other digi designers!!

Blessings!

New Arrival

Hi all!

I can't tell you how fun it was to sit down this afternoon and make a card with some of the fun things that came for me from the Paper Garden Projects store while I was busy with camp last week!! One of the things that I got was this *adorable* set by Impression Obsession called Baby Love. It has the cutest little baby animals in it, and it's easy to color - which is a plus when time is at a premium.

I used the sketch challenge from the Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps blog for my inspiration today. The sparkly paper from the Kaisercraft LaDiDa pack worked well for the little blocks behind the main image and a little stitching and a few brads framed the new little arrival perfectly.

Shall I tell you how I colored the blanket?? (You should be able to click on the picture to see it a little larger!) I first made some little hearts on the blanket with my YG23 marker. Then I went over the entire blanket with YG11. Then I took a white gel pen and outlined each heart... making it look like I paper pieced it! :-) Aren't copics fun????

Thanks for stopping by! I'll see you in a day or two!!

Blessings!

Isn't this Gorgeous??

Hi friends! Sorry I've been MIA this week!! I'm teaching at a Music Camp this week and my schedule has been insane. I obviously am not a teenager any longer!!! :-) I promise I'll be back next week with some fun cards!

This beautiful scissors keeper was my exchange piece from Becky K. Isn't it GORGEOUS! You should see all the beautiful beads and buttons. Sigh. It was like Christmas, when I received it in the mail! I still haven't heard from the gal I sent my exchange piece to. I do hope she's received it. It was, of course, the one that I forgot to put delivery confirmation on!! :-(

Have a fantastic week. I'll see you back here when I have a life again! ;-)

Blessings!

Do You Have Ants??

Isn't this image great??? It's called Garden Hose Ants and it's part of one of the featured sets that you can choose from for participating in this month's challenge on the Clearly Delightful blog, sponsored by Doodle Pantry. I love the little ant with his tongue sticking out!!

To enter the challenge, simply make a card with the sketch and link it to the Clearly Delightful blog by the 19th. Fair enough?? You'll get a set of digi stamps for free, *and* you'll be entered to win some fun blog candy! :-)

Here's my full card...

My image is colored with copics, and the little sun is actually a flower punched out with the Boho Blossoms punch. I added the smile and the faux stitching.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you'll join us for the challenge!

Blessings!

Clearly Inspired Birthday Challenge

Hello friends! Today is the Clearly Inspired Challenge over on the Clearly I Stamp blog and the theme is BIRTHDAYS. Now I've wanted to make a card using these two stamps together ever since they first came out. The train is from the "Railroad Memories" set and the sentiment is from "Birthday Celebration" - both by Clear Dollar Stamps. Aren't they the perfect pair?? :-)

To enter the challenge just make a card with a birthday theme and link it up to the challenge post on the Clearly I Stamp blog. Of course, we would LOVE to see what you create with your Clear Dollar Stamps, but if you don't have any yet, feel free to play along anyway!

Have a great day!

Blessings!

Chocolate Chip Rose

Here it is, ladies! The first chocolate chip rose! I was coloring the June Rose the other night during the release party (which was *so* fun, by the way!!) and I had some... ummm... technical difficulties. (In other words, I *really* messed up the coloring!! LOL!) But... Korin said I should try to salvage it, so I cut it all apart and layered the pieces with pop dots. Then I paper pieced one of the butterflies from the Everyday Miracles set and used a sentiment from the Poppies & Greetings set to finish it off. I really like how it turned out! :-)

Don't forget to stop by our digi day (or clear stamp day!) at SNR or PCP. Our theme for today is... Floral Frenzy!! I hope to see you there!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Something Fun!

One of my projects for the month of June is to make a little quilt. I picked out the fabric on Monday, and maybe I'll have a chance to do some cutting today. While looking around at blogs to get some inspiration, I came across one called Stash Manicure, a fun blog giving tips on taming your stash. That site led me to Cutie Pinwheel who is doing a fun giveaway that has something to do with this picture. Now wouldn't *that* be fun?

So what is your project for the month? Along with my quilt, I need to keep working on cross-stitching my dd's stocking. And of course I have some cards to make, too! I'll try to put up some updates here and there of my progress. Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

Tricia

PS I'll have a Sweet n Sassy card up in a few minutes. Be sure to stop back! :-)

Another Hero Note

I pulled out all my goodies from Paper Garden the other day to make another hero card for Operation Write Home. I used this adorable little hedgehog from the "Wonderful Day" set, words from the "TagLines" set and dp from the Pink Paislee 365 degrees pad. The ribbon is from my stash. The hedgie makes me smile because he looks like he's standing proud and pledging allegiance to the flag. :-)

I'm having fun adding to the pile of cards that I'm going to send to OWH. I think K Joy and I will go together and make up a box. What a treat to be able to do something for those who do so much for us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings!

Today's the Day!

Today's the day that Cocoa comes to Clear Stamps!!! SWEET!! That's right! Due to popular demand, it's the clear stamp comeback at Sweet 'n Sassy!! Now don't get me wrong. I love digis, but there is just *something* about stamping "for real". :-) So today, we gals on the Sweet 'n Sassy design team have all sorts of inspiration for you using our new clear stamps.

For today's card, I stamped Cocoa on white cardstock and colored him with Copics. And, no, the frosting isn't designer paper! :-) I just drew a grid with a pencil and used 2 different pinks to color it in. Isn't it a fun look! I had stamped and colored Cocoa twice, so I cut out just his head and paws and popped him up so he looks like he's popping out of the donut. My sketch is this week's Sweet Stop Sketch turned sideways. :-)

Of course, what would a blog hop be without candy??? Be sure to leave a comment and then keep hopping. I'm sure you'll find some!!!

Now don't forget the grand finale of our day, a FUN-tastic release party, tonight in our SNR forum at 8pm EST! Find out who won our fabulous blog hop prizes, chat with the DT, play along in our games and challenges for a chance at MORE prizes, make new friends and be inspired! Plus, we have a few special surprises for ALL release party attendees, so you won't want to miss the fun :). Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll see you tonight!
