Snort!

Hi everyone!

I'm playing along with today's sketch at Tuesday Morning sketches with this fun pig digi by Gerda Steiner Designs.  When you play along in the GSD challenge every month you get the next month's digi free.  I think this is maybe meant for a Valentine, but I thought that this sentiment (retired - KnK Designs) was perfect for it.  I have DEFINITELY had days like this!! : )

Have a splendid day!

{KnK Designs} Blog Hop Today!

Hello Friends!! I'm so excited to be a part of the Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop sponsored by Daydream Designs!  Especially because I get to feature digis illustrated by my own daughter, Katlyn of KnK Designs!! : )  WooHoo!!
This is a unique blog hop because EVERYONE WINS! There are free digi stamps available only for the duration of the blog hop, so grab them while you can.
Other prizes for qualifying participants:  3 winners get 3 FREE stamp sets, 2 winners get 2 FREE stamp sets, and 1 person will win 1 FREE stamp set...all from Diane’s Daydream Designs Stores.
To qualify, just comment on each DT blog and mine, too! (One time for each DT is sufficient even if they post each day.)  Start the blog hop at Diane’s blog and continue through this list:

Here are my cards for today...

My first card uses images from two sweet KnK sets... Rest and Rejoice.  If I were blond and cute, that little girl would look just like me.  LOL!!  I was inspired by the first Poppy Sketch and colors, although I can't say that I followed it exactly!

My second card uses some scraps of paper I had left on my desk and the ADORABLE Critter Garden set.  You can choose to add a puppy or a bunny to your row of flowers.  I chose the bunny so I could give him spots. : )  And don't you just love the sentiment??

Don't forget to leave comments along the way to be eligible for prizes and be sure to pick up the free images being offered.

Happy Everything!

My Hiding Place

I'm playing along with the spring inspiration challenge at Paper Sweeties and the polka dot challenge at The Shabby Tea Room with my card today.  I don't have any Paper Sweeties stamps yet, so I printed an image and sentiment from the new KnK Designs set "Spring Rain" instead.  Such a sweet bunny!  I used colors from the inspiration photo and added some embossed polka dots to the background...  Actually my bunny is even polka dotted! : )

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

An Afternoon with KnK Designs

My first card this afternoon was inspired by this week's Curtain Call challenge ...

I chose this sweet image from KnK Designs Always Friends to go along with the Hot Cocoa theme in the Curtain Call picture, and colored it with copics.  My sentiment came from another KnK set Spring With Duncan.  My paper is MME Bluebell (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store).  I used the Stitched Circles, Blueprints 4, and Scallop Ribbon Border DieNamics from MFT.

Here are another couple KnK Designs cards I made today just for fun...

Using Ruff Day...

Supplies:  Ruff Day (KnK Designs Digis); Kaisercraft Summer Breeze DP, Ribbon, Seam Binding (Stamp Simply); Notched Tag DieNamics, Kraft, Natural & Razzleberry CS (MFT)

And using Squeaker in Knots...

Supplies:  Squeaker in Knots (KnK Designs Digis); Carta Bella Well Traveled DP, Labels 22 Dies (Stamp Simply); Electric Red DP (MFT); Brads (Gina K Stamp TV Kit)

I hope you'll pop into the KnK store and see more of the sweet images. They are so fun to color!!

Happy Saturday!

Birthday Wishes

It's digi day today!  I needed to make a birthday card today for a little girl who is turning 6, so I thought this sweet bunny from this month's challenge at DeeDee's Digis would be perfect.  I used a sentiment from the KnK Designs set Juniper's Balloons cuz I love the font and it seemed to match the bunny.

Honestly I felt like the bunny after I completed my card this afternoon!  My stamping nook isn't heated except by a tiny space heater and it has very drafty windows..  I'm off to make a cup of coffee to warm up!

Thanks for stopping by !

MFTWSC159 - Squeaker in Knots

Hello friends!

I have a special card to share today!  It uses a digital set called "Squeaker in Knots" by KnK Designs... which is actually my daughter's digi shop! : )  She has a number of adorable sets in her shop right now, with more on the way, and each set has a number of sentiments in the CUTEST fonts.  I hope you'll check it out!!

I used this week's MFT Sketch for the layout and pulled out my trusty MFT Blueprints 3, 5 and 6 for the scallop, the doily circle and the bow.  I used the MFT Textile Background set on the center strip.

I'm also entering this in this week's Classy Cards n Such challenge for a doily and hearts.

Thanks for stopping by!!

OWH Benefit!!

Hello friends!  Today is a special, special day because it kicks off a benefit for Operation Write Home!!  Operation Write Home collects handmade cards to send to the soldiers deployed overseas.  Some of them are Any Hero cards that we write in to say "thanks for serving!", but most of the cards are left blank so the soldiers can send them back to their families and friends stateside.  It's a fantastic organization!!  But, in order to send the thousands of cards that will go out during the holidays, they could really use some extra funds for shipping, and that is where two digi designers would like to help.  Katlyn, of KnK Designs has teamed up with Deedee Anderson to offer 7 digi sets that are perfect for your OWH cards - or any cards, for that matter!  All of the proceeds for these sets (minus the paypal fees, of course!) will be donated to OWH.  Every bit of it!  You can buy the sets separately or in a bundle - Go check out the KnK Designs blog for all the details!!

To whet your appetite... here's a card made with one of the KnK sets "Packed with Love".  OWH cards need to be standard sized (4.25" x 5.5"), have NO glitter, and no thick embellishments, so to add some fun, I made this card a gatefold card that open in the middle.

Isn't Kolar a sweetie??  He's giving his best!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll be able to swing by KnK Designs and see all the fun sets available.  Thank you for giving!!

Pumpkin Patch

Happy Tuesday!

My card today uses a new digi from the KnK Designs Digi Shop - Pumpkin Patch.  I mentioned on SplitCoast that the sentiment reminds me of Linus sitting in the Pumpkin Patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin.  It makes me want Caramel Apples, and the smell of burning leaves and all those other Fall-ish things!! : )

Be sure to drop into the KnK store if you haven't recently.  There are more new digis that are equally adorable!

Blessings!

CHALLENGES:

Crafting for all Seasons:  Furry Friends
Paper Pretties:  Animals
Paper Variety:  Inspiration Photo
I used the colors of the puzzle pieces as my inspiration and tried to make my background paper fit together like a puzzle, too.

Hope for Katie

I made a card with the sweetest digi set today!  It's called "Hope" and it's from KnK Designs.  The set is in honor of Katie Renz, a fellow papercrafter who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastric Cancer.  All of the proceeds from this set will go to Katie to help with her medical bills and other expenses.  I hope you'll stop by KnK and take a look at this and the other adorable sets!!!

I made the card with this week's Splitcoast Sketch and I'm entering it in the Color Throwdown and Kaboodle Doodles challenges as well.

Blessings!
