Hi all!I can't tell you how fun it was to sit down this afternoon and make a card with some of the fun things that came for me from the Paper Garden Projects store while I was busy with camp last week!! One of the things that I got was this *adorable* set by Impression Obsession called Baby Love. It has the cutest little baby animals in it, and it's easy to color - which is a plus when time is at a premium.
I used the sketch challenge from the Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps blog for my inspiration today. The sparkly paper from the Kaisercraft LaDiDa pack worked well for the little blocks behind the main image and a little stitching and a few brads framed the new little arrival perfectly.
Shall I tell you how I colored the blanket?? (You should be able to click on the picture to see it a little larger!) I first made some little hearts on the blanket with my YG23 marker. Then I went over the entire blanket with YG11. Then I took a white gel pen and outlined each heart... making it look like I paper pieced it! :-) Aren't copics fun????
