Doodle Pantry New Release Day!

Spring and Fall

Happy April! 

I have the fun of being a guest designer for Doodle Pantry Digis this month and today is release day.  Woohoo!!

I made two cards for this release.  The first uses the precolored version of the Floral Hats digi, along with some of the pretty digi paper, and a clean and simple sketch.

Then we go from Spring to Fall and this adorable "Falling Ants" set.  There are both outline and precolored versions of the ants, and sentiments and flowers just in case you'd like to make spring cards instead of fall ones.  How's that for versatile!! 

I used the outline version of the digis and colored them with copics.  The clouds are hand cut out of designer paper.

Birthday Roses

It's time for another Clearly Delightful Blog Challenge sponsored by The Doodle Pantry!! The challenge this month is to make a card that uses a tag. The tag can *be* the card or be *on* the card. I chose to use a double ended Nestibilities die for my tag, then I just cut one of the ends off. I used the new Doodle Pantry Mini Rose Pot digi set and a sentiment from the set as well. I even tried my hand at ruffled ribbon. Don't know as that will become my signature move... LOL!

Pretty Purple Flowers

Laurie from Doodle Pantry has done it again, and is releasing some beautiful new digis to coincide with her Clearly Delightful Monthly Blog Challenge! For my card today, I used the new "Pasque Flower" set, and a verse from the "A Loving God" Scripture set. Don't you just love Laurie's work???

Here's today's funny. I got this card all done and realized that I hadn't followed the challenge, which was to use pearls, bling and/or buttons!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!! So... here's my updated card. I really didn't change much except to add a line of pearls above the sentiment and put some stickles in the center of the flower. Which one do you like better???

My image is colored with copics, and the little sun is actually a flower punched out with the Boho Blossoms punch. I added the smile and the faux stitching.
