I've had so much fun playing in Bella-Riffic Friday this month! For today's Anything Goes challenge, I decided to push myself and make something more than a card, but not anything that had to do with notebooks or post-it notes, which seem to be my "fall to" 3-d projects. I decided that, since cold and flu season is fast approaching, I'd make a little "Hug in a Box" with Fluey Huggabugg. Isn't she precious??? Fluey is colored with copics and her wings are sparkled with stickles. She's popped up over some scraps of SU dp and some red cardstock that I embossed with the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder. Inside her little box, I put some Spiced Cider, Cough Drops and Kleenex. I'm also entering this in the Stampin' for the Weekend Anything Goes challenge. :-) Perfect!
I really enjoy participating in company challenges, so I'm reminded to use some of the adorable stamps that I just had to have. :-) This little Turtle Tot is one of my favorites from Stampin Bella, so for my Bella-riffic Friday sketch card I watercolored him and made a little night scene, complete with grass, sky, stars and either a mountain or a tent... take your pick. I love the "Need a Hug?" sentiment. Personally I think I would need both the hug and the teddy bear if I had to spend a night outside. I am SO not a camping type girl!!!
It's BellaRiffic Friday and today's challenge was to use "bling". Bling isn't really my signature move, but I did manage a few rows of pearls, and if you make the picture bigger, you might see the Stardust pen that I used on Miss BittyBloom's skirt to make it glitter. :-) This fun paper and ribbon is from the package of challenge candy that I got from Tuesday Morning Sketches, for winning the monthly challenge in July. What a nice treat!!
Happy Friday! I haven't been able to play in the Bellariffic Friday challenges for awhile, but this week was an easy one... paper piecing. I pulled out my Turtle Tot and got to work giving him a paper pieced tummy. The center of two of the flowers are micro brads, the grass is done with Prismacolors, I used an old Fiskars border punch, and the sketch is my own... I think that about covers it! :-)
Isn't she just the cutest? (Do I say that about every stamp I own??? LOL!) This is Fluey Huggabug from Stampin' Bella and she was perfect for this week's "Anything Goes" challenge over on the BellaBlog. I paper pieced little Fluey's dress and colored her with copics... added some shading with pastels. The sentiment is also from Stampin' Bella and I'm always glad to have cards in my stash with such a sweet saying. Sometimes there's really nothing else that can be said.
I was so glad to get to play in the Bella-riffic Friday Challenge this past week! We needed to use polka dots, so I made my background "dotty" and paper pieced my little Turtle Tot's tummy with polka dotted paper. Otherwise he and his little bear friend are colored with copics. Isn't that sentiment just so sweet?? :-)
Hello friends! It's Card Kit Tuesday again! Our last card kit winner was Linda W. Hopefully she's already received it!! For this week K. Joy put together a kit filled with this adorable Turtle Tots image from Stampin' Bella, some pieces of double-sided SU dp, a piece of textured Celery cardstock, a white card base and some ribbon & brads. Isn't he just the cutest thing?? I colored him with Copics and my SU markers (that's how I made all the dots on his tummy!) It's a really simple card, but I love how it turned out. You have to go see K. Joy's card, too! It's adorable!!!
The BellaRiffic Friday Challenge for this week was to use the colors light blue, apricot and pink. I thought they sounded like perfect baby colors, and I'm *always* short on baby cards, so I decided to color up this little "sweet pea". I paper pieced her little pea pod and colored the rest of her with copics. DP is a little bit more from my Hearts Bloom paper pack, and then there are bits and bobs of other papers and embellishments from my stash.

I just got a stack of adorable stamps in the mail from Em at Stampin' Bella (I *won* them! Can you believe it??) and I wanted to play along with this week's Bellariffic Friday, cuz the birthday theme was perfect for this little BEEday Huggabugg! Isn't she sweet?? I used some older Brenda Walton paper from K&Co, a little Hibiscus Burst cs from PTI, Some ribbon from my LSS, some nesties and a CB folder, along with the sketch from CardPatterns for this week. My little Huggabugg is colored with copics and, of course, has Stickles on her wings!! :-)
