Hang in There

Oh, I just love this little bear!!! I really wanted to make a card with him today, and I had a few challenges that I wanted to play in, too. Well, everything worked out and I was able to use this card for all three challenges! That never happens for me!!

The theme for my card is encouragement - so that fits Deedee's Happy Monday challenge. I think I'm going to send it to a friend who's money situation is pretty tight right now. I love the verse on the card! It's from Deedee's Trust in the Lord set, and the bear is from the Hang in There set.

The layout for my card is this week's Sweet Stop Challenge. It really came together fairly easily... which doesn't always happen. Maybe I did something wrong??? LOL!

And, finally, I chose the colors for the sketch based on the colors in a bag in an inspiration photo on Splitcoast. (It's the brown, blue and pink one in front of the bike.)

And there you have it!

More Cocoa!

Are you tired of Cocoa the Mouse yet?? I just love to color him & he makes me smile. :-) I made this card for this week's Sweet Stop sketch challenge with the spin of buttons and bows. It's colored with copics and the papers are from a couple of different Debbie Mumm mat stacks from Joann's. Thanks so much for stopping by and even dropping a comment here and there. A Card for Ewe

I picked up these adorable digi stamps from Sweet n Sassy for a dollar. Can't beat that!! I played around with the words in my word processing program to make them different sizes and sitting on top of one another. I *really* like how easy it is to use digis in my Mac computer's Pages program!! I colored the sheep with my new E41 Copic... which I just LOVE, and colored just the head of a second sheep, so I could pop it up and tie a bow around its neck. I followed the Sweet Stop sketch for the week and I think this qualifies for the challenge's spin of Fuzzy Wuzzy, don't you?? :-)

I can't BEAR it!

This little digi-stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy is un-BEAR-ably cute - isn't he! I followed this week's Sweet Stop Sketch for the layout, and used Basic Grey Wisteria paper and some PTI cardstock and ribbon. The little micro brads are from Clear Dollar Stamps.
