Pretty Scripture Cards

Hi friends!

I needed a number of cards quickly yesterday so I actually made some duplicates!  I did change up the sentiment, though, so I wouldn't get too bored. :)

I used the beautiful flowers from the Pink and Main Humming Bird set (I think these flowers are soooo pretty!!) and some Scripture sentiments from Verve to make four cards.  First, I positioned four of the flowers on my block and stamped them with Versamark on a piece of cardstock that was still in the die.  Then, I embossed them with clear EP, and, finally I sponged over the flowers to make them pop.  After that I just needed to stamp my sentiment and layer my card! Easy and quick... LOVE!!

I'm adding these into Pink and Main's Anything Goes challenge, and Word Art Wednesday's challenge as well! :)

Pink and Main Hello

I had some extra coloring time today, so I made a card with a couple of sets from Pink and Main to play along with their "Spring" challenge.  Isn't this chicky from the Easter Peeps set just the sweetest??  I used some of the pretty Shades of Spring patterned paper for the background since the colors were perfect with the egg, and I used a word from the Hummingbirds set.  I followed the sketch from the Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

Pink and Main Love is In the Air

I made a card with my new Hummingbird set from Pink and Main to play along in their "Love is in the Air" challenge.

I think those flowers are so pretty!!  And the hummingbird is fun to color, too.

Pink and Main Birthday Owl

Hello friends!

I need a few birthday cards for next month so I decided to play along with a challenge or two. :). First, Little Red Wagon where they are asking you to choose a company you love and feature their stamps.  Oh dear!  There are WAY too many to choose from, so I decided to feature an image from a  new favorite of mine - Pink and Main, and a sentiment from an old favorite - Verve.  Maybe next time I'll do Your Next Stamp - or Craftin Desert Divas - or one of my favorite digi companies...  this list could be endless!! :). I also used a favorite paper pad from Doodlebug, my go-to markers - Spectrum Noir, and my white gel pen - LOVE!

I used a sketch from Tuesday Morning sketches for my layout...

Older and Wiser

Hello again!

Well, I figured out how to get my watermark on.  Progress!! :)

I had seen this sweet owl set on Anita's blog and was excited to pick it up for myself.  You can tell that I am looking forward to spring, because I am using flowers and brightly colored papers rather than winter-y ones. :)
