Mojo Joy

My Mojo Monday and Verve Diva Dare entry uses Verve's Better with You and Sip and Savor sets.

I used a little piece of flocked SU paper for the cup and the piece of snowflake.  "Joy" is part of the sentiment "Java Joy" from the Better With You set.  The snowflakes are from SU's Season of Joy.  I used a bit of Stardust pen highlights on and beneath the cup.  I've entered this in the Dutch Dare, Crazy4Challenges and Paper Sundaes Challenges.

Blessings!

An Old Favorite

I saw the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge and loved it!  Since I don't have any MFT stamps yet (although I love this new little sheep!) I pulled out an old favorite from Stampin' Up - "Halloween Hedgehogs".   I love how updated they look when colored with copics!  Thanks for the sketch MFT!  I'm also entering this in the Paper Play Challenge for Autumnal Colors.

Have a blessed day!

A Happy Hello!

Happy Fall, y'all!! I have a sweet fall card to share with you for today's challenge over at Paper Garden Projects. The challenge is Halloween, but since I'm not a Halloween fan, mine is more sweet than scary. :-) I used the adorable Eat Cake Graphics set "Pumpkin Pals" and a sentiment from the set "TagLines". The designer paper is called Apple Cider....mmmmm.... Speaking of apples, I made the *best* gluten free Apple Krunch tonight for supper! But, I digress... After coloring the pumpkins with copics, I added highlights with my Prismacolor pencils. Then I pulled out some older stash... my striped Cranberry Crisp ribbon (I loved that color!) and my spiral punch. I love the dimension they add to the card! The card base is actually dark brown, rather than black... it must be my camera. Sorry! This card is just full of fall colors, so I'm also entering it in the challenge at Paper Sundaes. Don't you just love challenges!!

I hope you'll have time to drop by and play in *our* challenge at Paper Garden Projects! There is always a wonderful prize up for grabs, and we'd love to see your work!

Thanks for stopping by!

Joy!

Paper Sundaes had a fun sketch this week, that worked perfectly with the Autumn Joy digital freebie with purchase over at Clear Dollar Stamps. I used my paisley Cuttlebug folder and some Rhubarb ink to do a letterpress background, and my tree is colored with various shades of Copic and Promarkers... with a little sky watercolored in with a Tombow marker. I found an old leaf punch in my drawer... you know - the kind of punch that you actually have to throw out your wrist to push down! I ran them through the Cuttlebug with the argyle embossing folder and sponged the edges lightly.

Have a beautiful fall day!
