Freshly Made Thanks in Color

Today's card combines the Freshly Made sketch and the Color Throwdown colors.  I used a number of Verve sets to stamp a background, and the used another flower to add a splash of color to my sentiment panel.

I just realized that I need a Mother's Day card by tomorrow! Eek! One day when Mom and I were talking she mentioned that she was always a tomboy when she was little and loved to be outside. I thought she might like this new little MFT Farmer Girl! :) I used the colors from this weeks Color Throwdown challenge as a jumping off point, and lots of MFT goodies...  Blueprints 1 DieNamics for the stitched layer, Blueprints 3 DieNamics for the little valance, the Graduated Dots Stencil sponged in Kraft Ink on the Whip Cream cardstock, a Leaf Filled Flourish and the little Farmer Girl set!

A Little Bit of Winter

I had so much fun making this card! I think I used supplies from every company that I like. :-) The image is from TAC, from a new set that I just adore! (Thanks, Karen!). The sentiment is from Sweet n' Sassy, the cardstock is from Paper Garden. The ribbon is from Clear Dollar and the cord and border punches are from Stampin Up. Isn't that fun?? :-) I colored my birdie with Copics, the mat is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, and the dp is from Cosmo Cricket. And, know what else is nice?? It doesn't have glitter and isn't too very bulky, so I can enter it in the OWH Anything Goes challenge and the colors are perfect for this week's Color Throwdown! :-)

Mary Had a Little Lamb

I had some fun in my craft nook tonight and made this little Magnolia card. I took my inspiration from four different challenges. Can you believe it?? Simon Says Stamps was looking for a card that reminded you of a song title... doesn't she just look like "Mary had a Little Lamb"? Magnolia Down Under wanted a birthday card. The Color Throwdown colors were Daffodil, Tangerine and Olive. I don't have the SU colors yet, but I kept my colors as close as I could. And, finally, I got my sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
