Today's hop features cards made with Theresa's new set, The Wetlands. It is such a nice mix of images and sentiments and I love that there are images to color along with silhouettes. For the card above, I used the two silhouette images, one in the background and another in the forefront. I made a mask for my sponging by cutting an opening with my deckle rectangle die and sponged through it with inks... I don't remember exactly which ones, but I think Kraft, Prickly Pear, Honey Mustard and Charcoal were some of them. : ) The brownish birds were stamped first in Honey Mustard, then in Kraft, and the other background bird was stamped in Charcoal Brown that had been stamped off once. The bird in the front was stamped with Black Onyx.
This card is a repeat from the release party, but I just love it, so I'm sharing it again. : ) I watercolored the background after I had stamped my silhouette in Versamark and clear embossed. I colored the dragonfly with Spectrum Noir markers and pencils.
And finally, a clean and simple anniversary card using papers from the Shabby Spring paper pack. LOVE the combo of Turquoise Sea and Charcoal Brown!!

Trisha, your cards are so beautiful! My fave is the dragonfly. I love that you showed the canada goose with no coloring.
All fabulous but I especially love all your choices on the first card. The deckle masking is fantastic! I need to get those dies out more often.
Stunning cards! You did a great job. Thanks for sharing your work.

Your cards are all so pretty, my fav is the first one-just love the look of it!
Yes, indeed, Turquoise Sea and charcoal brown are so very special. But the way you choose the paper and then decided on the amounts of colors to show is over the top.
Love all your cards---esp the dragonfly!!!!
Great cards, great color combos. My favorite is the beautiful dragonfly. Thanks for sharing.
A real wetlands look. Liked the technique every so much. #1. Loved the simple duck presentation. TFS. Hope things are better in your life.

I LOVE all your cards! But that dragonfly is getting CASED!
Great combinations of light and dark shadows and wonderful colors. It amazes me that designers (such as all of you at Stamp TV) can create such amazing variations on the same stamps. TY for sharing.

Very Nice!
Tricia, absolutely love the First Birthday card! It is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!
Awesome cards! Love ♥
Hard to pick a favorite.
Great samples showcasing the stamp set. You don't always appreciate a set until you see them in action. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love, love, love that dragonfly. So wonderfully colored.
Love your shadow stamping. Makes it so real
Great cards. My favorite is the dragonfly.
Love the cards! The first is my favorite, too, and I think it's the genius of setting the silhouette base 'out of the box.' That really impresses me-just that action seems to add another whole dimension to the piece, imo. Hope I can remember that in my stamping attempts. The dragonfly is colored gorgeously; and the goose is presented beautifully. TFS
Awesome use of the stamp set!!! Love your cards, thanks for the great inspiration once again!
Beautiful cards! Love the colouring on the dragonfly!
Gorgeous dragonfly and very nice cards.

Tricia, your cards are all beautiful!! I love the depth and texture you achieve without tons of layers! I keep staring at your aqua card...the colors are amazing and your watercolored background set them off perfectly!
Beautiful cards! I don't know which I like best.
Very nice cards, Tricia. I have not kept track, but I think that your designs are usually among my favorites. Everyone always does very nice work, but if I had to rank order them my guess is that yours would almost always be near the top of my list.
Oh I need to order more stamps. These are so great, thanks!
Your cards are beautiful and love your color choices. It would be difficult to chose a favorite. Thanks.
