After Christmas comes thank you notes, so I decided I'd better get a head start. I just love this little girl from Eat Cake Graphics. Cathy has her in a set over at Paper Garden. If you hurry, you can still get her before Christmas! All of the ribbon, designer paper and cardstock (except for the kraft cs) was from the Frosted Paper Kit. Cathy puts together wonderful paper packs! It's a great way to get cardstock, embellishments and designer paper that goes together well and fits into your budget!Here's the card details...
I wanted to play along with the Saturday Spotlight Challenge that Paper Garden is sponsoring this week, so I picked "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" as my theme music. I colored the image with copics, then added the "blue glow" around her with a Light Aqua prismacolor pencil and some OMS. If you click on the picture you might be able to see that I added some shimmer to her hat with a Stardust gel pen. I punched my image out with the Super Jumbo circle punch, and then punched out the pink layer with the pink scalloped circle punch... I think it's Mega, but I can never remember!! The layer between the two punches is hand-cut. The size of the card is 4.25" square and the sentiment is by Clear Dollar Stamps.
