I had a few minutes today to put together a little patchwork doll quilt from the baby blanket leftovers. I plan on giving the doll blanket to a "big sister" of a new little girl that was born a few weeks ago.In other quilting news... check out this wonderful quilting blog candy!! It sounds good enough to eat! LOL!! If you know me at all, you know that I love quilting as much as I do stamping. It makes me happy to know I'm sewing something that someone will keep and that they'll remember me when they use it. Even if the points aren't perfect. :)

okay...in all my years of giving quilts as baby gifts, why have I never thought to make the big sisters a doll quilt?!? I get gifts for the others kids, but never their own matching quilt! That is the greatest idea I'm planning on stealing! Very thoughtful and creative idea!
