I've challenged myself to make a number of cards this week, and Verve's Looking For Love Challenges look like a good place to start. The challenge for today was to use Red, Blush and Kraft on your card. I started with a Magnolia image that I'd been given and colored her with Copics. The background paper is from Basic Grey and worked perfectly for the "Blush" color. I even got to use my Sew Mini!! :) The Plain Jane verse is cut out with a classic rectangle nestibility and then sponged with Rose, Real Red and Blush and finally stamped with caramel, using my Canvas background stamp. (I stamped the BG paper, too... it gives it a vintage look that's so pretty!) The ribbon is vanilla taffeta from SU and the pearls are from Michaels. I really, really like how it turned out.... I think perhaps I'll give it to my dh to give me for Valentine's Day. LOL!!
