It's Christmas!  Well, maybe not quite yet, but we were challenged to make a Christmas card inspired by a Pinterest picture for the Florishes challenge.  I wanted to use my new Flourishes Christmas set "Christmas Candles", so this is the picture I used as my inspiration.  And here is my card...

The Craft's Meow September Sketch

I was so blessed to have my name drawn in last month's Crafts Meow challenge, so I decided to use the set that I won to make a card with this month's sketch.  I just loved the artwork in this "Happy Fall" set - and the font on this sentiment!  I stamped my pumpkin on watercolor paper with black Palette ink and heat set it before I watercolored with SU and Tombow markers.  The grass diecut is from Sweet n Sassy and the border punch is a Recollections punch from Michaels.  Thanks so much for stopping by today... Timeless Tuesday #185

The Timeless Tuesday challenge on the Flourishes Blog was to make a small card... no larger than 3x4.  Fun!  The hardest part was figuring out which of my Flourishes stamps to use on it.  i finally settled on this sentiment, which I inked in Brocade Blue and then went over part of it with Night of Navy to make it look variegated in color.  I added a little stitching, a tiny bow and three pearls for embellishments.  I think I'll tuck this in dd's next college care package!
