The project for the Verve Project Parade this month is to make something for one of the men in your life. Luckily for me, along with June being Father's Day, it's also my anniversary, so I was able to make something for my dear husband. We'll be celebrating our 22nd anniversary in just a few days. It's been *such* a wonderful journey!!
Along with his main gift & getting to "run away" for a few days together, I picked up a Toblerone candy bar for him. It has a very unique triangular shape, so it was easy to score some cardstock and make a quick wrap for it. I used the "I love you" from the "I love you to pieces" stamp in the Sweet on You set for the tag.
I used the Viva La Verve Sketch as my jumping off point for my card and pulled out some of my new K&Co dp for the background. I used lots of sets for my words... Because of you, Sweet on You (the word "MY"), and World's Best. You can see the obvious embellishments, but if you look *very* closely (double click on the picture) you can see that I scored around the edges to "finish it off".
Thanks for stopping by!!
