Today we're featuring stamps from Melanie's set Basket Additions 3, combined with other fun sets available in the Gina K Designs Store.
For this little notecard I used a Spellbinders Long Scalloped Rectangle to cut a card base from GKD Kraft cardstock. I stamped an apple from the Bounty of Blessings set on GKD Heavyweight White cardstock, colored it with Spectrum Noir markers and cut it out. I popped it up with 3D foam over a strip of GKD Black Onyx cardstock on which I wrote "teacher" with a white gel pen. I added the words "for my" from the Basket Additions 3 set, and then swiped the edges of the card with white ink. The final touch was a Dark Chocolate Twisted Twine bow.
For my second card, I colored the school supplies from the Basket Additions 3 set and the wagon from Beyond Baskets. I used paper from the GKD Poppy Prints pack to make my background, and added an appropriate sentiment for a teacher or a mom sending her children off to school from the Stamp Duo Little Things. I colored a couple of pearls black with my Spectrum Noir markers and added some twine for a little embellishment and texture.
Well, that's it!! I hope you've enjoyed today's hop and are all excited to start stamping !! I'll give you the list of my fellow designers again, in case you're just getting started... otherwise, you can jump right over to the shop to check out the stamps and supplies you saw on today's hop! :)
