Using up Scraps

Do you have some scraps of card stock laying around?  Here's your tip for today...

Not all cards need to be standard sized! :)

This little thank you card is going to be tucked in a package that I will be sending this week.  It doesn't need an envelope, so I didn't worry about cutting this piece of Calypso Coral to any particular size.  In fact, it was the leftover piece from the cut I made yesterday!  I simply folded it in half and cut my top layer to fit.

My sponging today uses some unlikely colors... Calypso Coral and Pool Party, to be exact.  If you look really hard at the white embossed flowers (from Beautiful Bouquet, by the way!) you will see that I stamped a flower center in Bermuda Bay on the flower after it was embossed, and then re-embossed the image.  This time using clear embossing powder.  The blue faded, but you can still see it and it gives a nice background to the clear rhinestones.  The leaves are stamped in Garden Green.

Thanks so much for visiting today!
