Simply Purple

I'm back today with a card made from my nemesis color - purple.  In fact, when I showed it to my daughter she said something like, "That must be for a challenge, because you don't like working with purple!"  LOL  I am so predictable! : )  Well, yes, it does happen to be for a challenge or three!

The Time Out Challenge is looking for a clean and simple card with a twist of purple.  The TicTacToe challenge this week had a line of chevron, resist technique, and a bow.  And the Love to Scrap challenge is Anything Goes.  TaDa!

I stamped my chevron stripes (MFT) up the side of my panel first, then stamped my flowers (Gina K) in Versamark before clear embossing them.  I sponged over the embossing with Lovely Lavender ink (Gina K), then added my bow and a sentiment (Verve).  I finished it off with white gel pen dots and some sequins, then matted it and attached it to my cardbase.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!

Tricia

Very nice card and I am your opposite- as I tend to make tons of purple cards. So I think this is gorgeous!
