{Gina K Designs Inspiration Hop!} Stately Flowers 9 & KnitWit Diva

Hi everyone!

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Cast and Crew will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Today we are showcasing Melanie's gorgeous new Stately Flowers 9 set and Debbie's cute Knit Wit Diva.

Let's start with Stately Flowers, shall we?  I stamped my flowers with Memento Black ink on Heavy Base Weight White cardstock and then colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.  Then I cut a circle from some Prickly Pear cardstock and centered it over my flowers so they would peek through.  I stamped the flowers again in Prickly Pear ink in the lower right corner and added a little flag anchored with brushed copper brads.  The little "splatters" on the Prickly Pear cardstock were done with my Spectrum Noir marker.

I did some more tone on tone stamping with Debbie's set, but this time in orange...

I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a die cut and then doodled a border with an orange marker.  Then I stamped the little basket in Memento Black ink and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.  I popped it up on the smaller die cut, popped that up over another larger die cut that I had stamped with Turquoise Sea and Sweet Mango balls of yarn, and then attached that to my tone on tone layer.  Super simple!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll see you again tomorrow!!

Tricia,

Just like a couple of the other blogs, I really appreciate the fact that you did not use a lot of pink.
