{Stamp TV Kit} Wish Come True

I adore Stamp TV kits.

There.  I've said it.  I love the cute designer paper, the ribbons, the stamps, the fact that you get both colored cardstock and white or ivory, and even little brads, too.  And now those fantastic Vintage cuts... WOW.

I like the kits because they don't overwhelm me.  I can stamp and stamp and stamp with what is in the box, or I can mix and match like I did here. The ribbon, designer paper, and ivory and kraft cardstock, and all but one of the stamps for this card came from the  STV kit - Journey of the Heart.  I added in a couple of rhinestones, a frame stamp from a Gina K grab bag that I won on Stamp TV and a piece of cardstock.  That's it!  A beautifully easy birthday card.

I'm entering my card in the ModSquad challenge to use red and brown, the Stamp TV challenge to use a knot on your card, and the Seize the Birthday challenge with a topping of rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by!

{Stamp Simply} My Garden of Friends

Isn't it nice to have a garden of online friends?  It always makes me smile when you stop by and leave a comment, so I made this card with all of you in mind.

I had this piece of orange gingham paper from the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze pad sitting on my desk and it looked SO happy and springy that I just had to use it.  I wanted my card to feel like a sunny spring day, so I cut a square with my Spellbinders Die and sponged it with sunny colors while it was still in the die.  I stamped it with a sentiments from JustRite Poppies.  I used my copics to color the flowers from JustRite Botanical Medallions, then trimmed around them and popped them up with 3d Foam Squares.  I finished off my card with Cluny Lace, Seam Binding Ribbon, Gold String, Pearls and Rhinestones.  Sunny and sweet -- just like each of you!  Thank you so much for being in my garden of friends!

Here's my Stamp Simply Supply List for today...

Viva La Verve - March

I'm a little late this week sharing my Viva La Verve card.  I usually have it up over the weekend!  I used the pretty Ps 94:18 Plain Jane and some paper from the Kaisercraft Summer Breeze pad.  The dp, rhinestones and gorgeous ribbon are from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

New Release Blog Hop & TCP Tuesday

Hi everyone!  Welcome to my stop on The Cat's Pajamas New Release Blog Hop!!  You should have come from Wendy's blog, but if you're just dropping in and want to start at the beginning you can start here. : )

Wasn't it an amazing release?  I decided to make a card with the little sock monkey image that is SO adorable.  I used the pretty sentiment during the Sneak Peeks, so I just couldn't wait to get him inky.

My card today is doing double duty for this week's TCP Tuesday challenge, too, which is to use clouds on your project.

I watercolored a cloudy background with my distress markers, then stamped my little monkey  and an extra balloon.  After everything was watercolored and dried,  I cut he and the extra balloon out and popped them up in the sky, adding some clouds so he'd look like he was floating.

I used a sentiment from the Hang in There set, but I love how the sentiments in these two sets could be interchangeable!!

Thanks so much for stopping by this week!  I've enjoyed playing along with the Cat Pack !!  Now off you go to Kelli's blog.  I know she'll have something FABULOUS for you!!!

 TTFN!

{Shining the Light} - A Mother's Comfort

For today's TCP Sneak Peek - Click HERE!

Another Scripture card for a Sunday!  This one is for the Our Daily Bread Shining the Light challenge to use 6 of something.  I used six pieces of designer paper in my background. : )

The stamps are from the ODBD set "Mother's Day".  Isn't that font pretty?  I inked up the flower with a few different ink pads and stamped it off once before stamping it on my card.  I wanted the main focus to be on the verse.  I am SO thankful for God's comfort and so glad that I can rest in Him daily, not just when things are tough!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  May you have a blessed day worshipping the Lord!

{TCP Sneaky Peek Week} Hang in There Baby

Today's card is perfect for Sunday...

I used the beautiful Thoughts and Prayers sentiment from the cute little Sock Monkey set to show how VERSATILE these sets can be!!  You'll have to wait for the blog hop to see the sock monkey himself. : )

I used the Framed Up 2 Cut Ups to cut my ring and circle, and then embellished my sentiment with some greenery and a layered flower.  The embossed dp background, seam binding and pearls all helped with the soft and elegant look of the card.

{TCP Sneaky Peek Week} Rise and Shine

Clean and simple and oh, so sweet, today!

BunBun is out puddle jumping and sending showers of kisses....  AWWWW!

I used my Distress Markers to watercolor the image and used the flag from the Framed Up 2 Cut Ups to cut the end of the flag.  Super simple!!

Stamp Simply - Prima Thanks

** Two posts today!  If you are looking for the TCP Sneak Peek, scroll down! : ) **

Today's card has a little old-fashioned charm, compliments of the Prima Anna Grace collection from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I used some paper from the 6x6 pad to make my background mat, and then made my own designer paper for one of the flags by stamping the rose from the coordinating Everyday Dress set in the pretty deep orange of the flower.  I added some seam binding and a diecut sprig as embellishments and finished it off with another flag cut from the paper pad and a stamped sentiment as the center of my flower.

Here's another view...

And here's your Stamp Simply shopping list for today!

{TCP Sneaky Peek Week} Your Number is Up

Welcome Back!

Today's card features a new stamp set and cutting plate that are right on the number. LOL!!

For today's card I started by cutting out numbers with the Cut Ups: Number Plate and adhering them to my kraft background.  I love the subtle tone on tone look!  I made a designer paper layer cut with the Cut Ups: Framed Up 2 die set, and then did some creative inking to craft my sentiment with the coordinating Your Number is Up set.  Wouldn't you love to be told you look fabulous on your birthday???

So....

{TCP Sneaky Peek Week} The Puck Stops Here

Welcome Back!

How about a little US Hockey for our card today??

I watercolored BunBun using my Distress Markers and used two of the dies from Cut Ups "Framed Up: 2" to mimic a hockey puck.  If you pretend that the woodgrain in the background is marks on the ice it looks even better. ; )

{TCP Sneaky Peek Week} Lean on Me

Hello friends!

I am so thrilled to be able to play along with The Cat Pack from The Cat's Pajamas for this month's release!  We have seven days of FANTASTIC sneaks for you.  Woo Hoo!!

The Cat's Pajamas:  Lean on Me

Today's set features PJ Bear ... my absolute FAVORITE TCP character.  Don't you love his sweet face (and debonair bow tie??).  I paper pieced PJ for today's card and popped him up on a background diecut with one of the new Cut Ups "Framed Up: 2".  I LOVE this new die and there is an assortment of fun shapes in the set.  I'll be using it a lot this week!!  PJ is made to lean on the words in the set... SO cute!!

Now off you go to visit the other members of the Cat Pack!  But don't forget the party on Monday night and the "In it to Win It" thread on SplitCoast.  There are prizes up for grabs each day!!!  Here's all the info...

Viva La Verve - Call to Me

I followed this week's Viva La Verve sketch for my card this morning.  This adorable MME Bluebell paper from Stamp Simply makes such a pretty background for the Jeremiah 33:3 verse and the cluster of flowers.   I cut the flowers from scraps of paper using the Surely Goodness dies, then spritzed them with water and crumpled them.  When they were dry I added the buttons and layered them on a sprig cut with a Spellbinders die.

I'm also entering my card in the Curtain Call: Farm Fresh challenge.  The colors, the sprig of leaves, the flowers, the weathered background, the buttons... they all put me in mind of the best parts of country life.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hope

I have a bright, happy card to share with you tonight that I made with a couple of challenges in mind.   The Verve Diva Dare is to use polka dots on your card, and the Mod Squad challenge is to use a tag.

I knew my Blomma pad from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store had polka dotted paper, so I pulled a couple of pieces of coordinating paper to help me choose the colors for my focal image.  I wanted to try a technique that I had seen on a number of blogs lately, so, first, I stamped the Psalm 31:24 sentiment on a tag, and then I stamped a number of flowers from Surely Goodness as well as some sprigs from Better with You to decorate the edges.  Then, using my scalloped rectangle die, I cut out the center of the stamped tag, and then I diecut five pieces of unstamped cardstock as well.  I layered three of the unstamped scalloped rectangles and topped them with the stamped scalloped border, then I stacked the remaining two unstamped inner rounded rectangles before I added the stamped center.  I love the dimension it gives the finished card!!  I decorated my tag with dotted sheer ribbon, twine, and pearls.

Here are the items I used from Stamp Simply...

Other items...

MFT Tag DieNamics, Verve Scalloped Rectangle Die, Verve Surely Goodness Stamp Set
Ink: SU Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard; MFT Steel Blue, Black
