It's Flourishes Day!

Hi everyone!  It's Flourishes Day on my blog! : )

It's been an incredibly busy week, so I'm sneaking under the wire with my Timeless Tuesday entry for this week! NO!  I missed it by an hour!  ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!  Anyway,  the challenge was to layer two forms of ribbon, so I layered sheer organdy and gold cording.  The stamp is from one of the Botanical Bookplates sets, but I don't think I'd used it yet, and the Happy Birthday  sentiment is from the set MixNMugs.  I'm SO sad I missed the cutoff.  Sigh. : (

Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp:  Birthday
Sketch N Stash:  Sketch w/Embossing

For my next card I used the same stamp but was inspired by the colors in the Summer Lovin challenge photo... which cutoff I did NOT miss! : )  I hope you'll play along, too!!

I think they are both beautiful even if you missed the deadline! I love seeing the stamp done two different ways. And we both know we love a pink and green color combo, SMILE!

I hate it when that happens to me. I think both cards are beautiful! I like that you used two different color schemes. :)

I like both of these Tricia. The springy feel to the second one and the fancy edge is my favorite I think. Thanks for playing in Flourishes Summer Loving Challenge.
