Colorful Snowman

I hope someone out there is reading, because I really want to share tonight's card... although the picture really doesn't do it justice. I love how it turned out!! :) It's colorful, and it uses a new technique for me. Have you ever stamped your image on patterned paper, then cut it out and adhered it to an image that you'd previously stamped rather than color that image in? It's kind of like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I did the tree and the stars and my snowman that way. A lot of cutting - but worth it, I think!!

Here's a closeup picture of the center section to help you see what I mean...

Images are TAC, everything else is Stampin Up!.
Is anyone out there?? I'd love a comment to let me know!! :)

Well it's friday but I do check your blog whenever you add a new post. We are having a card and scrapbook night Thursday with the ladies from church - I can't wait! I do love your card (they all are very nice)

Great card, and love the paper piecing, though I haven't gotten around to trying it yet! Of course, the other problem I have is that of not having designer/patterned paper! :-) BTW - I use Google reader to check your blog whenever you post. It seems that most people these days are "stalkers" just lurking out there reading but not commenting - I'm guilty! :-)
